After months and months of planning and preparing, the day had finally arrived. The weekend forecast was a big rainstorm! On Friday night things were not looking good and on Saturday morning the rain was still going, but by the afternoon the skies had cleared up and sun was out. It was a wedding day miracle. Bree showed up first with all her cute bridesmaids and mom to help her get her final jewelry and wedding dress on. Meanwhile, the groomsmen tried to put each other’s boutonnieres on. When everyone was dressed and ready, it was time! First Nick and Bishop walked down the aisle, the parents, then each groomsmen and bridesmaid couple. Finally, Bree’s dad and Bree made their grand entrance. She was the most beautiful bride!! The backdrop was amazing, the sky was beautiful and the entire ceremony was perfect.
After the ceremony everyone said their congratulations then we started taking pictures until the reception began. The reception was full of fun Columbian traditions like the waltz money dance, the shoe kicking “bouquet toss,” and carrying the rings in the same little pillow that four generations had used. When 8:30 came, Nick and Bree were ready to make their drive to SLC so they made their grand sparkler exit.
