Typically you see me shooting babies, kids, clothes, toys for toddlers and diaper bags. But I recently had the opportunity to work with IRO Paint Brushes to capture lifestyle images of their different brushes. IRO had plenty of images displaying their product with the common flat white backdrop, but they wanted a wide range of lifestyle images to showcase the different ways customers can use their products when browsing their website. And I was so excited!
Here I’m going to walk you through showcasing your product to the FULLEST.
WHY ITS IMPORTANT TO SHOW MANY USES OF YOUR PRODUCT
Featuring IRO Paint Brushes
I’ve talked before about the importance of lifestyle images in your brand’s photography and how they are just as important as flat lays. These images tell your brand’s story and are the most effective at connecting with a customer.
Potential customers viewing these images on your blog, your website and social media see your product in a natural setting where they imagine how your product can fit into their own lives. They picture themselves as the models and how they would look with your product in their own lives.
In addition, flat lay images are equally as important because they can give the customer a closer, and more detailed look of the product.
Your visual strategy is a HUGE piece in the marketing puzzle. I love to create galleries that have a cohesive style, show a variety of uses and types of images.
