I loved hanging out at the Utah State Hospital for their Engagements. I have to admit it sounds a little funny asking your couple to meet you at the Utah State Hospital, but I’m glad they trusted me. Rachel and Brian have the sweetest story and I wanted to share some tidbits of it for their blog post. During our bridal consultation Rachel told me that Brian was her home teacher. After he left one night her friend told her that she thought he was into Rachel. After that Rachel was like “yeahhhh, he’s pretty cute.” She really wanted Brian to ask her out so “she kept bringing him food”. Haha after a few weeks of being well fed Brian finally got the courage to ask Rachel out. Food is the way to my heart to, Brian!

For their first date they hiked the “Y”. Rachel told her roommate that she wanted to go slow. She said if Brian said “let’s race to the top” she would immediately turn around and run home. She knew Brian was the perfect man when he told her they could take their time. They both wanted to go at a pace where they could enjoy the hike. Soulmates. He reminder her they could go slow and she was swoon. Rachel and Brian really enjoy going on walks. I had a session schedule before their bridal consultation and it ran a little late. Instead of waiting around for me, they made good use of their time and walked around the block. They love finding park benches to sit on. Who doesn’t love a good cuddle on a bench? I’m so glad we found one during their engagement session.
