Let’s be real for a second, I have the best job. I don’t know what I would do with myself during all these amazing sunset nights if I wasn’t out with my camera. Add in an in-love couple and I couldn’t be happier!

Valerie and Jose met last spring. She was attending Institute at UVU one night and a cute boy caught her eye. They chatted and she noticed what a good time they had! Luckily, she hinted that it would be a good idea to go on a date so that’s what they did! Here they are a year later, prepping for their June wedding.

The evening of this shoot was a perfect spring evening. Not too cold or warm. Valerie tracked down the perfect location at the Utah State Mental hospital campus where the blossoms were showing off their best budding abilities. I instantly fell in love with Jose and Valerie’s love. They are the kind of people that when you ask them to look at each other and they can’t handle it and start giggling because they love each other so much! My favorite part of the shoot was when Jose took Valerie by the hand and lead her through the amazingly thick orchards at almost a run. It was hilarious. My second favorite part was when I convinced them to sneak up on some deer. Haha. They are such great sports! I know that they will have the best lives together + I can’t wait till June now.
