On February 14, 2011, my husband sold his Xbox and bought me my first DSLR so I could live my dream. For those of you who know my husband, this was a huge sacrifice. (I made it up to him by buying him a Xbox after my first wedding…) When I started back in 2011, I was still figuring out my camera setting, lighting and had a basic DSLR and kit lens. I had some awesome ideas, but not a lot of control over my camera.
Well then, here it goes……
I set aside time to study new techniques, practice and brainstorm new ideas each week. Every single day I improve. My followers can attest to this.
2013 is not the end for me. Looking back to 2011, I am embarrassed that I even showed people my images. I feel pretty good about that 2013 images, but in 2020 I want to look back and think, “who was that girl?”
