Blind Date Success Story

Around here, we all love a good blind date success story. Lara and Brandon went out to dinner to Chinese food in Provo. They told me that is still to this day their favorite date to recreate! On this first date, they realized they both grew up in Bountiful, but they had never met before college! With all their connections, it was easy for them to become best friends. Their friendship quickly grew into romance. They both love each other in such a pure easy way. I love their happy attitudes and how they serve each other.

A Different Kind of Engagement

Brandon proposed last spring! He surprised her with a candle lit picnic on a dock! She was so excited to say yes to her forever best friend! Their engagement was fairly different than usual. They got engaged and then Lara left on a 3 month study abroad to Europe. They spent that time growing even closer via Facebook Messenger video chats. Life got exceedingly better once Lara returned and they finally got to be married!

Hometown Wedding

They were sealed at both their home temple in Bountiful, Utah. You bet there was a huge crew waiting outside the temple for the happy couple! They are very popular people! Their bridal party was so fun and the bridesmaid dresses were the perfect pale pink. I especially loved getting to serve this couple since I was roommates with Lara’s sister in college and I have gotten to know this family over the years. Their reception was so homey and comfortable. They served apple pie and had a fun shoe game to get to know the couple! I could talk about how perfect this day was all day but the pictures speak for themself! Congrats you two!!
