The Best Job Ever

It is an honor to get to share my favorite family with the blog!! Here is the story of how I was blessed with these guys as a big part of my life. As I was approaching my senior year in college, I was actively trying to figure out what I was wanting to do with my career. My dream of photography was a slow build. I turned to Care.com and found my dream job. I got to be a part time nanny to these two girls for 2 years. Back when I started when they were 1.5 and 3. It was the perfect job for that time in my life! Among other things, I learned how to entertain and play with children for extended periods of time and I learned how to stick to a laundry schedule.

Also, I learned how to cook in a crockpot. I learned how to help organize a house hold! I thought I was just getting a job but I learned so many skills while I worked there! I also had SOO many fun memories with these girls. There were days that were hard and days that I can still remember how fun kitchen dancing and coloring battles were. I miss those two blonde babies, but I am in love with this 6 and 8 year old!

My Favorite Family

I love that I still get to be a part of their lives and it is a genuine joy in my life. When photography started taking off, the worst part was having to stop seeing these girls every day. I said all the time that my best friends were shorter than the kitchen counter…. now they are the funniest, sweetest girls I know. I always said I wanted to be a nanny for a family that had good parents that I could be a support two and these guys are some of the best! They have the best sense of humor about parenting and they take their girls on the best adventures. I’m so excited for you to see these photos of my favorite family! Enjoy!
