If there has been a couple I’ve been rooting for for a while, it’s been McKayla and Tyson. Obviously when my friends start dating amazing guys, I take a vested interest, because I LOVE all things love, marriage, wedding, etc. I’m the girl that never gets sick of hearing about the cute inside joke you have with your significant other, or any of the mushy stuff. I welcome it, because dating and being engaged is such a special time of life, and I love to celebrate it! Kayla and Tyson are some of my faves. Their story spans from high school, across a mission, jobs, living on opposite sides of the mountain, college classes and life in general. Fate intervened and brought them together and it’s been magic ever since.

Back In February, Tyson crafted a plan to propose and told Kayla that they were going to have a bon fire at 1st Dam. Kayla thought that was weird and told him usually that she attended bonfires at 2nd Dam. Tyson flawlessly deflected this by saying his friend was in charge and they’d just go check it out. They got there, it was empty and wet from the melting snow and rain that day. Not exactly what he wanted to knee down in. Then Tyson spotted the tunnel running under the highway, lead her to the back where a light seemed to illuminate the mountain. He told her how much he loves her and how his world wouldn’t be the same without her. There may have been a tear or two shed. She said YES without hesitation!

Tyson and Kayla are both from Brigham City area. Thanks to a spring snow storm in Logan, it was a no brainier to head to the blossoming orchards in Box Elder County. Kayla made special efforts to get her outfits and locations just right, and that effort made all the difference. Is everyone stoked for spring or is that just me?! Haha! Creamy light, mixed with Kayla and Tyson’s easy personalities created the engagement shoot of my dreams! I love when my clients become friends, but when they start as my friends, it’s even that much easier to pull real smiles, happy moments and true love out of them! I’m already dreaming about their June wedding!

Rachel is our second photographer. Not only is her photography similar to Kylee Ann’s, but she’s been apart of our business for the last year. She’s been mentored by Kylee, attended several workshops and is completely comfortable with the ins and outs of the entire experience we offer here. All work will be edited and completed through Kylee.
