McKayla is now Tyson’s wife! What a magical day it was to see these two so happy to be sealed together for time and all eternity. Despite all the nerves and last second planning that goes into a wedding, these two and their amazing families pulled off a day and evening to remember. The day was hot as everyone waited for them to exit the temple and we quickly finished the family pictures in the shade. Tyson couldn’t stop smiling and calling Kayla his wife, which was totally adorable. These two have been dating since high school and even attended prom together so it was fun to see all the history they have together already. So many people came to celebrate them and give them their support. Emotions were flowing since Kayla is the oldest child to get married and her family is so tight-knit. Another special addition to the day was that McKayla wore her grandmother’s dress that hasn’t been worn since the 1960’s. Her mom and sister did lots of updates and she was even able to wear it while she was sealed. The whole day had a vintage wedding vibe and fit Kayla and Tyson’s vision perfectly. The backyard reception was decorated so well and was the perfect balance of light and airy and personal to the couple. A big hit was the ice cream shoppe and the various sweets that were all family recipes! One of the main reasons I love Kayla is that she is always ready to party. After the line was over she was ready to dance the night away and that she did! All her girl friends had a blast dancing to all their favorite songs and grandpa even got into the fun. I’m so excited to watch these two spend their lives together! Congrats guys!
