If you’re a brand that’s all about play, purpose, and inclusivity—bright and colorful brand imagery is your best friend. And no one does it better than @FunAndFunction. This month’s shoot was a total joy to capture, and our models had the best time exploring everything this amazing brand has to offer.

Fun and Function is known for creating sensory-friendly toys and therapeutic tools that support kids in all the ways they learn, grow, and express themselves. What makes them stand out? It’s the perfect mix of vibrant design, thoughtful function, and a genuine commitment to making sure every child feels seen and supported.

Our Plan for this Shoot

For this shoot, we highlighted a mix of sensory products—each one designed to empower kids through creativity, movement, and emotional regulation. From multi-colored mirrors in fun shapes that help with self-expression, to exercise tools that build strength and coordination, every item felt intentional and fun.

One of the biggest hits? The weighted stuffed animals. These adorable plushies are as soothing as they are cute, and our models couldn’t get enough of them. They were hugged, snuggled, and carried around like best friends—exactly how they’re meant to be used.

We styled the session to feel vibrant, energetic, and inclusive. Think: rainbow tones, interactive scenes, and real kids having real fun. These weren’t posed product shots. However, they were authentic moments of exploration, movement, and joy.

Fun and Function also continues to shine in their commitment to diverse casting, and we love seeing kids of all backgrounds and abilities represented in their visuals. It’s not just about what the product does—it’s about who it’s for. And this shoot made that message loud and clear.

As a brand photographer, I can’t emphasize enough how powerful color-forward imagery is for brands like this. Bright, bold photos stand out in a feed. They draw the eye, spark curiosity, and create instant emotional connection. Especially when paired with purpose-driven products like these, these images can really make an impact.

We shot this session in a light-filled space that allowed the colors to pop without overwhelming the scene. Soft shadows, natural skin tones, and a balance between bold product focus and child-led storytelling made every image feel vibrant yet grounded.
