You guys — graduation season is officially in full swing, and I am so here for it! There’s something really special about capturing the excitement, relief, and pride that comes with closing one chapter and stepping boldly into the next. When I got to photograph Brodee’s graduation session at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, I knew right away this one was going to be extra special.

Brodee isn’t just graduating with a degree in Human Resources (which is a huge accomplishment on its own!) — he’s also the President of the Ambassador Program at Weber State and a Student Leadership Fellow! Talk about making the most out of your college experience! His graduation session needed to capture not just his academic achievement, but all the leadership, growth, and heart he poured into his time at Weber State University.

We started the shoot right on campus — because where else can you get those iconic Weber State vibes? The Bell Tower was a must, of course, but we also found some dreamy light near the Student Union and made sure to grab some shots that showed off that stunning mountain backdrop Ogden is known for. I love mixing traditional shots with more relaxed, personality-filled moments, and Brodee brought his A-game.

From his sharp outfit to that proud cap-and-gown smile, he made it so easy to tell the story of this milestone moment. And let’s be honest — there’s just something extra inspiring about seeing a guy who’s clearly worked hard, led with purpose, and stayed grounded in the process.

Weber State’s campus is absolutely gorgeous this time of year. Between the soft green trees, the clean architecture, and that signature Utah light, it was basically a dream location for grad photos. Whether it was a casual walk through the quad or an epic shot with the mountains in the background, every corner of that campus added to the story we were telling.

Graduating college is no small thing. It’s late nights, early mornings, perseverance, stress, pride, and so much growth packed into a few whirlwind years. Whether you’re heading off to a new career, more school, or taking a well-earned break — you deserve to remember this moment forever!
