Every girl dreams of the day she will meet the man of her dreams. They imagine the sun will shine from the heavens and the angels will sing the “Hallelujah chorus” the second he steps into their life. Well, for Ciara and Bryce, a different beginning took place. They met in a new apartment complex they both moved into last summer (MY apartment complex!) Bryce was instantly taken with the cute girl next door, but Ciara wasn’t looking for a summer romance… rather a fun summer with her girlfriends. Day after day, Bryce would come over to ask her on a date, his interest in her never failing, but each time Ciara brushed the offers away. Until a friend trip to Southern UT. Something about the change of scenery opened Ciara’s eyes to the kind and caring soul that Bryce is. Soon after they started dating and haven’t looked back since. Our group of friends have been cheering them on since then. They were sealed last weekend in the Ogden UT Temple. We met up the week before to take their bridals and first look session. Ciara was a vision in her wedding dress from Fantasy Bridal in SLC, Utah. They helped her to find the perfect dress in the perfect color, after only trying 2 on! Jimmy’s Floral in Ogden, Utah completed Ciara’s dream bouquet. The soft pinks and creams matched her wedding scheme perfectly. The cherry on top of her bridal look was her hair done by her friend and hair stylist, Megan Thorpe. We set up their first look and I could tell Bryce was so excited and a little nervous to see her. She had written a short letter to Bryce to read before he turned around and the words in that letter got the emotions flowing immediately. Bryce loves Ciara so much. Bryce’s mom, Ciara’s best friend and bridesmaid Emmy, and I were all tearing up watching them take their first peek into eternity. They spent the gorgeous evening soaking each other up. It was the type of session that everything aligned to bring my bride the most beautiful images. I was flying to MT that evening for 4th of July, so we started a little early to be sure we’d have plenty of time. We captured all the main portraits at the Temple and headed to a secret second location with the prettiest view of the mountains and the perfect rock for kissing. ;) Before we knew it, we looked to the South and there was a massive wind tsunami  heading for us. It was a miracle we had started when we did so that we had everything done before the winds came. We felt Heaven smiling down on us and making sure we had the best experience.
