Carlie and Seth have so many miracles leading up to how they met. For them it was all about timing. They met last winter up at BYU-Idaho and hit it off right away. They started going on fun dates and getting to know each other really well. Then they could just feel that the timing wasn’t right. They followed their hearts, but eventually their hearts lead them back to each other. They dated long distance this summer, but like everyone says, “When you know, you know.” They fell deeply in love and everything fell together to do so.

Carlie headed to a friend’s wedding in Cali a few weeks ago. Her friend tricked her in all the right ways and got her to the beach without her having a CLUE that Seth drove in a day early to surprise her with a candle lit proposal right next to the ocean. WOW. I saw the video and it was just as cute as you think it was.

Carlie is a Rexburg Idaho Photographer herself, so I felt extra lucky to be chosen to capture their special memories this fall! We met up in SLC for conference weekend and the fall weather was perfect up the canyon. Carlie was wearing amazing outfits from both Olive Ave and DownEast and I want to buy everything she wore. Seth was a stud at pictures and basically took over the posing by kissing her, hugging her and twirling perfectly! I can’t wait for their wedding day at the Idaho Falls Temple later this year!!
