The last of my 2014 seniors graduate this weekend so it was time to do an end of the year post to share their high school accomplishments and future plans. I sure love these seniors!
Brooklyn Falter
is graduating from North Thurston High School. During her four years at NTHS, she’s been on student government as a class officer, ASB treasurer and ASB president. She played tennis, golf, swam for two years and is heavily involved at church. Brooklyn was also involved in clubs, took AP classes and competed in DECA all four years. She took many trips to leadership conferences, including a few out of state. Brooklyn is going to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints before she begins her studies at Utah State University.
Allie Egolf
is graduating from North Thurston High School. During her four years at NTHS, she was heavily involved in leadership and student government. She spent her last year on ASB and also attended several leadership conferences locally and nationally. Alli was heavily involved in clubs, took AP classes and competed in DECA. She swam for three years and was even the swim team captain. She was elected onto Senior Prom Court last month! Alli is going to study business and marketing at Western!
Bryce Lemar
is graduating from North Thurston High School. Bryce spent three years in the autoshop class and is taking the advanced autoshop this year. He placed 3rd in his competition for Ford/AAA and works at a local car wash. To say he is a car lover would be an understatement. Bryce is the proud owner of a Volkswagen Golf MK3. After high school, Bryce will be starting his studies at South Puget Sound Community College.
Emily Massey
is graduating from North Thurston High School. Emily has spent years and years dancing and now helps teach at the same studio she started in! She was also on prom court this year with her boyfriend! She’s going to go to Pierce College in Lakewood, Washington. She wants to get her Associate’s Degree then transfer to Central and be an elementary teacher!
Megan Wilson
is graduating from North Thurston High School, but didn’t spent her entire four years there. During high school Megan moved from Texas to NTHS and fit right in. Megan is the managing editor of the school newspaper, an AP student and a member of Rams in Action, Honor Society and Renaissance. She loves writing stories and would love to be a creative writer one day. Megan also loves to dance and took hip hop classes from a local studio. Megan will be attending SPSCC for 2 years and then will be transferring to a 4 year university like UW and majoring in communications.
Melissa Shoop
is graduating from North Thurston High School. Melissa is another big-time dancer. She spent years in High Impact Dance/clogging and also was on the North Thurston Dance Team, where she made it to state! She also went to state in DECA her first year. Melissa is heavily involved in church, attends early morning seminary and serves in her youth group. Melissa is planning on working hard all summer then attending Utah Valley University in the fall!
Myranda Paquette
is graduating from North Thurston High School. Myranda is a bookworm and an amazing AP student. She is in leadership, served on the ASB and competed in DECA! Myranda is an amazing golfer for the North Thurston team! She is heavily involved in her church and loves to do service missions around the world. Myranda plans on attending PLU this fall!
Shelby Valdez
graduated from Skyview High School. Shelby was on the Sky View basketball team where they were undefeated for three years of high school. Shelby loves basketball, soccer, snowboarding, wake-boarding and traveling! Shelby plans on graduation with a degree in some sort of psychology major then starting some sort of organization that helps teens deal with depression, eating disorders, anxiety, and other difficult things they face during our teenage years.
Tanner Holmes
is graduating from North Thurston High School. Bryce spent his time at North Thurston in the autoshop class and is taking the advanced autoshop this year. He was on the NTHS dive team and placed in state two years in a row. Tanner took AP classes, played tennis and was very involved at church too! Tanner is the proud owner of a BMW E30. After high school, Tanner will be attending BYU-Idaho for a year then serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Miranda Danielsbrown
is graduating from Olympia High School. Myranda is heavily involved at church. She attends early morning seminary, serves in her youth group and attends hundreds of youth and church activities each year. After high school, Miranda will be attending BYU-Idaho!
Caitlyn Szczypien
graduated a semester early then moved back to Washington where she is now working with children.
Karli Belnap
graduated from Skyview High School. Karli is involved in her church: early morning seminary, youth group, girl’s camps and treks. She was in drama and choir and performed in tons of plays and variety shows in her years at Skyview. Karli was a Hyde Park Princess and waved her hand through many parades her senior year. She will be attending Utah State University, but first has decided to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Luna Lovegood
is graduating from Hogwarts.
Kylee Ann Maughan is a family and international brand photographer based in small-town Northern Utah. She has been a business owner for 13.5 years, and also runs a successful and award-winning associate team. Kylee hosts semi-annual retreats, speaks at conferences and teaches online courses about running a small business and marketing. Her niche in coaching is helping moms turn their passion into profit, while being the mom they dream of.
