Launching a brand-new collection always carries a different kind of energy—and this shoot for Lucky Panda’s very first Mom and Me collection was no exception. From the moment we started planning, there was a clear excitement from both the brand and the models. My goal with this session was to channel that energy into visuals that felt elevated, cohesive, and ready to support every part of their launch. That’s exactly where commercial product photography plays a key role—bridging the gap between a beautiful product and a compelling customer experience.
A First Launch Deserves a Thoughtful Approach
With a debut collection like this, simplicity is often the strongest strategy. Rather than over-styling or distracting from the pieces themselves, we kept the focus exactly where it needed to be: on the product.
These pieces were incredibly soft and luxurious, and that tactile quality needed to come through visually. Every decision—from lighting to styling—was made to highlight texture, movement, and comfort.

Combining Flat Lay and Lifestyle for Full Coverage
To give Lucky Panda a well-rounded gallery, we built a mix of flat lay and lifestyle imagery. Each serves a different purpose, and together they create a complete visual story for the collection.
Flat lays allowed us to clearly showcase each piece—perfect for online listings and quick-scroll shopping moments. Lifestyle images, on the other hand, brought the collection to life. Featuring moms and their little ones interacting naturally helped communicate not just how the clothing looks, but how it feels to wear.
Capturing Connection Through Lifestyle Imagery
For a Mom and Me collection, connection is everything. The goal wasn’t just to show matching outfits—it was to highlight the relationship behind them.
During this session, we focused on natural interaction between models. Movement, small candid moments, and genuine expressions helped create images that feel warm and relatable rather than posed or forced. These are the kinds of visuals that resonate with customers on a deeper level.

Creating Versatility with Photo and Video
In addition to still images, we also captured video content during this shoot. This gives the brand even more flexibility when it comes to marketing—especially for social media and ad campaigns where motion content performs strongly.
Here’s what we built into this session:
- Clean flat lay images for product listings
- Lifestyle photos showcasing fit, movement, and connection
- Simple, consistent styling to keep the focus on the clothing
- Video clips for social media and launch campaigns
By planning for multiple formats upfront, Lucky Panda now has a content library that can support their launch across every platform.
