Creating consistency through your brand photos
Do you ever pay attention to websites and how they use photography to showcase their photos? As a brand/ business, having consistent professional photography can help your branding appear trustworthy and professional. Having consistent photos throughout your platforms looks visually interesting, put together and intriguing.
I am going to share some ways that can help with creating consistency through out your monthly brand shoots!
Use the same props throughout your weekly or monthly photoshoots
Several of the brands we work with bring their own props from week to week. They are recognizable to their customer, so when their customer sees a photo, they instintaly recognize what company the photo or product belongs too. Your customer will see something familiar and it will stop their scroll.
Use the same product poses for different varieties of the same product
When you are posting photos on your website, it looks great to use the same pose for your products. Using consistent thumbnail photos looks visually interesting, is easy to follow and helps your customer make decisions easily.
Use the same paper colors throughout your brand photos
We love taking pictures on paper rolls and mat boards to incorporate your brand colors and to provide consistent photos from week to week. Using the same few colors of paper rolls, or using seasonal colored paper rolls, will also provide you with clean, easy to look at product and branding photos!
Think about Crumbl cookies advertising and marketing. Their flavor announcement videos are the same set up, lighting and background from week to week. They are all interesting and intriguing and when you see it, you know just exactly what it is and are excited to see the flavors of the week. Think of a way to incorporate consistency in your photography to make it unique and recognizable. Branding and marketing is so fun and there are so many options!
Your brand photographer can help you come up with ideas, but if you have inspiration share it with your photographer! Your collaboration is everything and produces the best results!
