Megan is a senior at North Thurston High School. After 15ish years in Texas she moved to Olympia, Washington and he didn’t skip a beat after she moved and jumped right in. I was amazed at her confidence and ability to make friends so quickly. She told me she was shy growing up, but I would have never guessed that after meeting her. Megan loves to dance (and was even in a hip hop class until she broke her ankle.) Also, she is an editor for the school newspaper. She loves to write stories and wants to be a creative writer one day! On top of all of that, she is a member of Rams in Action, Honor Society and Renaissance…three clubs dedicated to serving others. Megan is the sweetest girl and I was honored to take her senior pictures.
We decided to go Downtown Olympia on the Pier and Capitol Lake on the morning of Sand in the City. It was the most dead I had ever seen downtown Olympia. There were a few dog walkers, but the pier was empty, fountain was empty and the sky was just the perfect overcast.

Kylee started Kylee Ann Photography 9 years ago, and has since grown from a one woman amateur show to a full associate team. We shoot 50-75 weddings a year, and thrive on kindness and service. After a year of teaching Intro to Photography at the local technical college, she discovered that helping other entrepreneurs create thriving businesses is what fires her up! She hosts semi-annual Kylee Ann Sleepovers all over the US, speak at conferences and teach online courses about running a small business and marketing.
