Stefanie is the sweetest bride! I’ve been emailing her for months and finally got to meet her and her sweetie this weekend! When she got out of the car she said “I feel like I already know you!” and gave me a big hug!! She is the best! I can’t help but feel a little fancy after working with Stefanie and Marcello this weekend. They are a fabulous couple, and they came all the way from Washington state so they could have their pictures taken by me. They flew into Boise, drove to Logan and hit the crazy weekend snow storm (seems like those are weekly right now) and then drove back to Boise to fly home later that night! That is true dedication and made me extra excited to meet them and get some amazing snowy pictures! 

Their story is a little different than the normal love story… They met via a mutual friend 2 winters ago. Marcello didn’t get around to asking Stefanie out for a few months after that, and when he finally did, Stefanie wasn’t too interested. Luckily, fate intervened and they bumped into each other again that summer. Stefanie thought this time she’d humor him to get a free dinner (sushi!) but their walk around the town afterwards caught her totally off guard! This was different than she thought. He was special! From that date on, she was head over heels in love!

Their proposal story is equally as great. I was laughing so hard with them as they told this story, my eyes were streaming tears!! The story went that on day when Stefanie had gotten home from work, Macello said he had to go to work meeting, but she thought that was weird since he never had before. But when he got home, he told her he wanted to go out to celebrate their 4 month anniversary of dating. He created a story about how his buddy was night fishing on the pier and that he wanted her to meet, but she wasn’t having it because it was cold and she was hungry. After he offered her a million favors to “please come out on the pier,” she walked on in front of him to get it over with. Before she knew it, her puppy dog came running up to her out of no where with a ring box around his neck containing the most stunning ring. Stef said she apologized for 10 mins before he could finally pop the question. :) Hearing her tell the story was the funniest and sweetest thing ever, and their energy and fun personalities took over the session!! I asked him to pick her up and spin her and he was hilarious about grabbing her and spinning her around in his arms! I love grooms that know how to have fun!! And every time I told them to kiss and he would steal 2 or 3 or 7 extra kisses. Haha! They threw a little snow, snuggled and didn’t even feel the cold cause the sun came out at the perfect time. Oh and they got the true Logan experience when my car got stuck in the Green Canyon parking lot, not just once, but twice after the session!! Luckily, I’m a Montana girl so I keep a shovel in the trunk. Unfortunately, I also know how to drive into snow banks. Thanks for pushing me out Marcello!
