This Events at the Grove Wedding was a dream with the best team of wedding vendors + the sweetest bride and bride momma of all time. The new Mrs. Cassie Parkinson makes EVERYONE feel like a million bucks the second you start talking to her. I remember her caring so much for me when we first met, and watched her show the same genuine love for ALL her wedding guests all day long. This was a bride that cared very little about the wedding stresses and SO much about making her guests feel welcome and appreciated. Serving alongside Events by Mackenzie Lynn with the kindest family you’ll ever meet felt more like a family reunion than a day at work.
Also, this wedding fell on my birthday. During the wedding dinner the head table started singing happy birthday and the entire room joined in as they brought me creme brûlée with candles in it. Totally unexpected but sums up how this family serves and loves all those around them even on THEIR day. Everything about July 9th 2016 was perfect — so beautiful and uplifting.
Shout out to Lauren Anderson for this photo and being my second/assistant all day long. Another kind and beautiful soul
