Several months ago, I started a lace dress flower crown bride series in an orchard in Logan Utah. After we finished the first shoot (here), we were published in Utah Bride Blog, Kylee Ann Photography was rebranded and business soared. (Coincidence?) Finally after almost four months, we continued the flower crown bride series, with Anna.
Anna is actually married and a mother of a beautiful seven month old baby. She is completely stunning and easy to work with. To bring a little more life to the shoot, I wanted to shoot at a waterfall. I found a beautiful waterfall not far up Logan Canyon called Spring Hollow that worked perfectly. To me waterfalls are peaceful, calm and beautiful, but also chaotic and powerful. I wanted to capture the beauty and the chaos because it reminds of a wedding day.
My team, Brennan Terry and April Luck, did so well at sharing my vision. Brennan had the ideas drawn out and ready to go from the second I told her about the shoot. She even came with us to touch up makeup on scene. Not only did she fix makeup and hair, but she position the flower crown, carry bags, held light stands and helped Anna feel comfortable behind the camera. She’s an incredible makeup and hair artist in Logan Utah and surrounding areas.
April is the gal that I can send a quick Facebook message to and she comes up with a masterpiece. Her flower crowns have been unique and AMAZING each time. I left the flower crown in her hands completely both times and it turned out better than I could have imagined.
