My goal this year was to make each senior session as unique and individualized as possible, so I sent out a survey beforehand. I asked Allie what was something she was proud of herself for. Her answer was sailing across the Pacific Ocean with her parents. The three of them lived on a sailboat for 5 years.
Now, Allie is living back in her home on the lake. At North Thurston High School, she is on the swim team. To say she loves water is clearly an understatement. We decided to incorporate her love for water with her lake and rowboat. Allie is also the chapter president of DECA and ASB Treasurer. I can just tell she will be a future business leader of America, so watch out!
This was the first time I really met Allie and her mom and they were incredibly kind. I even left with a homemade tuna sandwich and juice box.
These three turtles above symbolize the three of them sailing across the ocean. This is the only thing left from their sailboat.
