I never was a fan of fall back in high school. Not too many trees around me changed color in Washington. I hated autumn soup. Corn mazes made me itch. And it meant that waking up at 5am for early morning seminary was extra dark and extra wet. It wasn’t until I moved to Utah that I fell in love. Now it is easily my most favorite time of year. I LOVE the amazing colors, especially in the canyons. The weather is perfect, especially the rain. And especially since having children, I love the traditions around fall time — Halloween, Pumpkin Patches, decorating and of course TWO birthday parties. ;) Can’t forget all the pumpkin bars, pies and cookies. We had a wonderfully, busy fall. A trip to California, Washington, some day trips to SLC, a trip to Vegas and Dallas for Luke and another trip for mom this week to Arizona. Can’t wait to hibernate all winter. ;)
