Oahu Wedding Photographer

We traveled to Oahu and photographed the most gorgeous couple in the middle of a Jurassic Park scene. They twirled, frolicked, hugged and kissed…and not one single dinosaur joined us. It was incredible to be surrounded by lush green mountains, fields and trees.

The Kualoa Ranch & Private Nature Reserve is a location I highly recommend putting on your bucket list. According to the website, this private nature reserve has been the scene for a multitude of Hollywood movies and television shows. They have jeep, ATV or horseback tours all around the ranch. I don’t know if I was more stoked about Jurassic Park or 50 First Dates.

I brought Smackerel Events with me all the way from Utah to style this shoot. She handpicked the dress, make up artist and florals. Before the shoot, we photographed details and play settings at our airbnb. Our hair and make up artist, @makeupbykatelynpierson, knocked it out of the park with this braid. She is incredible, and so kind. And @sheshedesign found a leaf on the side of the road that she hand lettered to add a piece of Hawaii magic to our session.

I hope photography takes me back to Oahu again and again.
