Hawaii Photography Workshop
ELEVEN girl bosses flew to Hawaii (some for the very first time) to attend the fourth annual Kylee Ann Destination Sleepover. Eight attendees, three vendors at the Hawaii Photography Workshop!
Out of the eight attendees, there are FIVE women that have attended at least one other destination sleepover!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Not only has this job given me (and my family) a chance to travel the country, but so many amazing women, too. We’ve had so many attendees that have flown on the airplane for the first time EVER to attend a sleepover or simply learned how to travel on their own.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I am so grateful we’ve been able to explore Oregon, Alaska, Arizona and finally, Hawaii with the #kyleeannsleepover.

Smackerel Events in Oahu
This workshop was different because instead of using local vendors on the island, we brought our favorite Utah vendors with us. Margaret Gittins with Smackerel Events brought the WOW factor.
Margaret and her crew fixed us the fanciest breakfast and lunch everyday, provided snacks, welcome baskets and farewell gifts. We ate Teriyaki Chicken out of pineapples, and tried exotic fruits from all over the island. She’s always been our go-to for event planning and styled shoots in the wedding world, but this is the first time we used her to plan the sleepover. It was AMAZING.
Margaret brought along two of our other favorite vendors. Ashley with She She Design turned everything into art. Everywhere we turned there were Hawaiian phrases and names beautifully written in calligraphy on leaves and chalkboards.
Katelyn flew in and turned everyone into models. Every time I turned around she was doing someone’s hair or make up. It started with just models and turned into most of the photographers and vendors for extra headshots and styled shoots. Everyone looked beautiful but nothing beats the braid she did on Kylie’s hair! It was AMAZING.
We wish we could have brought all our vendors, but some just came with us in our suitcases. Shout out to this incredible line up:
- Engagement Dress: Bliss Tulle
- Bride’s Dress: Petals and Promises
- Rings: Staghead Designs and Jerrick’s Fine Jewelry
- Lei: Oahu Leis
- Family Outfit: Eighth Main
- Welcome Cookies: Baymer’s Bakery
- Amazing Conditioner Bars: Jordan Evo Co.
Our next sleepover is this summer in Port Angeles Washington! Email info@kyleeann.com for more information.
