A few days ago I brought an old photo to life on Facebook and scared a bunch of people. It made me realize that a lot of people do not know that I have a twin sister. Obviously, she’s a big part of my life so it is time to introduce her to the Kylee Ann Photography world! And there’s no better day then on our birthday!! So this is my twin, Lauren – owner of Pace Made Designs.
Happy Birthday, LoKy.

Every time I tell someone I have a twin sister, they ask if we are fraternal or identical. I tell them that we are fraternal, but we look very much the same and show them one of our senior pictures. 99.9% of the time when they try to guess which is which, they’re wrong. If you’re brave, try guessing who is who on all of the following photos:

Now for some facts, and answers to the FAQs:
- I’m older by an entire hour.
- I was 7lbs7oz and Lauren was 7lbs13oz…bless our dear mother.
- We switched classes a few times in school. We never got caught by the teachers, but most of our friends could tell.
- We played the same sports, had the same extra curriculers, and even took most classes together.
- We never dated the same guy, or had the same job.
- I answer to the name “Lauren” just as easy as my own name.
- I even got called “Lauren” when I was 8 months pregnant.
- We hate the “who’s smarter? who’s faster? who’s blah blah?” comparison questions that we’ve been getting since we could talk.
- We both had blonde hair until I got engaged…then she went dark so I would stopruining her game ;) Now she’s a little more brown than I am, but we’re pretty close to the same color again.
- We shared a room until I got married, and have never lived more than 15 minutes apart since then.
- We’re BFFs. A sisterly bond that can’t be broken.
