Yesterday was perfect! And when I say perfect I mean that so many things went wrong but we had still fun and made the best memories as a family.
We woke up and slowly got ready for the day. It was so great to wake up to so many sweet texts and messages. Thank you all for the love! After scrolling through all my sweet messages, I got to get dressed and did my make up without two children hanging on me. That was a dream ;). Then, we went to a breakfast feast at Herms. Luke surprised me by inviting his family to join us. We had the most delicious breakfast then did a little make up shopping at Ulta. When we got back from our morning errands, my cute cute neighbors brought me over the sweetest card (from @handwrittenharper) and Temptation Cupcakes. That made my day!

We stopped and got salads at Noodles for lunch then headed to Bear Lake. Luke rented a trampoline for an hour, then a big boat and tube + did all the inviting! I love planning parties, and birthdays, but I’m not a fan of planning my own. I hate when they fail, or the worries of everything going wrong, or no one shows up, etc. He is the BEST for planning a perfect day.
The trampoline was deeper than anticipated so Austin and Luke took the toddlers and all the girls stayed on shore watching. It was quite the workout for them getting them out there, but they had SO much fun. Then, it was boat time! The best part of the entire boating experience was watching Brennan on the tube. Still laughing thinking about it. I’m the only one that didn’t get in…but I’m also the only one that made Luke drive 2mph because I’m a pansy. Even Brody went faster than me. It’s fine ;). Piper and Avery slept/chilled the whole time and everyone had so much fun. We stopped for dinner at Cafe Sabor then went our separate ways. A few minutes later, Austin and Brennan passed the go-karts and invited us to join them. Go-karting was a tradition that Lauren and I used to do every year on our birthday with my grandparents. It was seriously the best topper for an awesome day.
