Two Years of Anniversary Photos
These two are extra special to me because they’re my cousins!
I photographed their engagement session, and we’ve kept the tradition going every year since. Now they’re celebrating two years of marriage, which means I get to watch their story grow one photo session at a time.
There is something so fun about photographing the same couple year after year. You get to see how they change, but you also get to see all the things that stay exactly the same.
And these two are still just as cute together as ever.

A Couple I Love Getting to Photograph
My cousin is seriously the coolest. She works with coyotes, which is definitely not something you hear about every day!
And Hunter is the sweetest.
Together, they are just one of those couples who are easy to photograph because they genuinely enjoy being around each other. You don’t have to manufacture connection when it’s already there.
That’s one of my favorite things about anniversary sessions.
You aren’t celebrating an engagement anymore. You aren’t necessarily celebrating a new milestone or checking something off a wedding timeline.
You’re simply celebrating each other.
Why I Love Annual Couples Photos
I think anniversary photos are such an underrated tradition.
You don’t need to wait for a major milestone to get in front of the camera. You can make it an annual thing and watch your photos become a visual record of your marriage.
Maybe you go back to the same location every year. Maybe you choose somewhere completely different. Maybe you dress up, or maybe you keep it casual.
The important part is that you make time to document another year together.
For these two, I love that we have photos from their engagement and now each anniversary since. Eventually, they’ll have an entire collection showing their life together over the years.

Jardine Juniper Anniversary Photos
Jardine Juniper was such a beautiful place to celebrate another year together. The natural setting gave us plenty of room to walk, talk, laugh, and capture the two of them naturally.
And because we’ve photographed together so many times, we don’t have to spend the whole session figuring out how to get comfortable in front of the camera.
We can just have fun.
That’s exactly how I want anniversary sessions to feel.
If you’re coming up on another year together, reach out to me, Kylee, and let’s make your anniversary photos an annual tradition, too. You don’t need a big milestone to celebrate the fact that you’ve made another year together.
