If you’re dreaming of a breathtaking Jardine Juniper formal session, this one is for you! Alexis and McKay are getting married at the Logan LDS Temple this October, and we originally planned to do their first look at the temple before heading up Logan Canyon. But as luck (and construction) would have it, our plans had to shift. With three construction zones, we pivoted. We met up at Alexis’s brother’s house so they could get ready together before heading straight to the Jardine Juniper trailhead.

And honestly? It worked out better than we could have imagined.
Fall was just beginning to show off up there. The leaves were slowly turning, and the air had that crisp, early autumn magic. There was this one moment during their session where everything just clicked. Alexis and McKay stood together, completely present, and let their walls down. I got to witness a truly vulnerable, soul-connecting moment between them. It reminded me that love isn’t always flashy or loud—sometimes it’s quiet, brave, and deeply beautiful.
This Jardine Juniper formal session had it all: a dreamy location, authentic emotion, and the kind of couple that makes you believe in forever. As a photographer, these moments are what I live for—not just taking pretty pictures, but preserving feelings, energy, and connection. Their love story unfolded so naturally in front of the lens, it felt like I was documenting a memory they’ll never forget.
