Karli and Eric dated for a year before she sent him off on a two year mission. They describe that time apart as their “adventure” time. He loved serving the people in the Philippines and she spent time finishing her design degree, living on the East coast and faithfully writing him every single week. Through those letters, they learned each other better than they ever could have imagined. Even though it was a sacrifice being apart, they would never trade their experience. He got home recently and things picked up right where they left off!! HE proposed just a week before our session and their joy and giddiness was still so evident!! I could have hung out and talked with these guys all night if the sun hadn’t set on us. I love them!! Karli opted for an amazing turquoise engagement ring! I love how unique it is!!
