Meet Kate—Sky View High School’s Female Athlete of the Year and an absolute force of nature! As a seasoned Logan, Utah senior photographer, I can confidently say her senior photo session perfectly captured her strength and grace. We kicked things off in Green Canyon, where soft golden light bathed the mountains. Then we made our way to the Sky View track, her second home and the place where she’s trained and competed for years.

Kate brought the energy every photographer hopes for. She’s not just insanely talented—she’s a dual-sport athlete, dominating both track and soccer—but she also came in with several scholarship offers already on the table. Between shots, we chatted about her future plans, her love for reading, and what it felt like to be named Girls Track Athlete of the Year.

What really stood out? Her heart. For someone with so many achievements, Kate stayed grounded and genuine. She showed up confident and calm, but also lighthearted. She laughed easily, moved with purpose, and fully owned her moment in front of the camera.

This session didn’t just capture a senior year milestone—it celebrated a young woman who’s chasing big dreams with humility and fire. I feel so lucky to have documented a small part of her story.
