Kylee Ann Destination Sleepover | Desert Engagements | Lakin & Ty

The Arizona Kylee Ann Destination Sleepover was my dream photography workshop. First off, I love everything Arizona. Brenan and I lived there for a year while we were married. A lot of Mina’s family still lives there. I would move back in a heart beat. I love the desert light. I love the desert landscape. I love the big city. I love everything about it. I mean the summer is pretty hot… but other than that! I do love going to the pool so much all summer long though! I love that they have as many splash pads as we have parks. Because Brenan is living there again right now, I still get to visit a lot. This summer I have been down every single month.

When Kylee let me help plan the styled shoots I was so excited. I got to use friends in the area, and it was so fun to take pictures of them. Lakin and I met through mutual friends in North Carolina. I nannied in North Carolina and she went to school at UNC. We actually didn’t live there at the same time. But we both knew the same people. I got to meet her when I went back to visit. I love having connections all over the U.S.

Lakin and Ty have been engaged for a year and haven’t taken engagements yet. A styled shoot with nine photographers is the best practice for any future photo shoot. Styled shoots are always really intense, but also super fun!! We partnered up with Moonbeam Apparel to style this shoot. Moonbeam Apparel is a local boutique in Logan.
