Kenzee and Nicholas were made for each other. Married two weeks ago, these two are in that perfect newlywed bliss stage of life. I hope it never goes away for them. I told Nicholas he was a champ for agreeing to another photo session after all the recent pictures with other photographers —engagements, bridals, wedding day, etc. Kenzee said “He did it because he knew it was important to me.” And not only did he agree to the session, but he did it with a smile, never complaining even though it was right during his class. I loved the way they looked at each other + how sweet they were to each other. True love AND true models.
This was our first styled shoot in the #kyleeannsleepover weekend. It was held at the Logan Steak House in the Events at the Grove center. They have the most incredible open rooms, big fireplaces and huge windows to light the entire venue. It had great natural light, but it also provided great moody and low lit areas to give us a great variety to practice.
BB.Events coordinated all the vendors on the day of the shoot, and decorated several spots in the Events at the Grove for us. She set up early, stayed to help while we shot and took down the decor after. This is exactly how she does weddings too. Makes your life 100x prettier and 100x easier. She is the best event planner and decorator in Cache Valley.
Plant Peddler Floral played a huge part in our Logan Steak House Wedding styled shoot. Becca made all the incredible floral arrangements and her co-worker, Megan, made the cake. Megan is brand new to the cake industry with a new business named Sweet Plum Confections. My girl, Syna, did the hair and make up in her amazing home studio and rocked it like she always does. Pace Made did all the calligraphy, but there was a little miscommunication and it didn’t make it into the shoot. You can take my word for it – it was perfect.
Typically the bride gets all the sponsors in my styled shoots, but for this one our groom was pampered. Zuzu Wear donated the skinny tie. Rose Anvil donated an amazing handmade ring. And Stagg Head Designs donated the pocket square, wood cuff links, and wood tie clip.
There were a few hiccups, but the shoot came together and the photos were totally perfection. Scroll down for links to the incredible vendors.
