I start out a lot of my blogs, telling how cute my couples are and how they met. Well, I will do those things but these guys are special, for a few different reasons. First of all, I was there when these guys met. Justina moved into my apartment and I had a birthday party. My old friend, Jeff, came and impromptu DJed the night away. That was where he first noticed her, though their first date was a few months away. (We ended up taking these bridals a year to the day after this party! Crazy!) Second, Justina has been one of my biggest cheerleaders for my business. When I first started blogging my photography, it was a running joke that each day she would visit the new content, and then scroll the entire blog to the very beginning, even though she had seen it all before. While I’m glad that someone else was reading it other than just my mom (Hi mom!), it meant the world to me that she valued my work so much that she was personally invested in what I do and the experience I provide to my clients. Finally it is her turn to be featured with her husband on my blog. What a happy day.
Jeff and Justina met at that party I was mentioning, but their first date was almost 4 months later. They were set up by another mutual friend, and they went 4-wheeling up the canyon. They hiked into a cave, where they roasted tiny marshmellows on a candle, added a teddy gram and chocolate chip to complete their micro s’mores. She came home smitten after that date! Just a few months later, he proposed to her at the beautiful Logan River Park, with a beautiful ring and a promise of forever. You can view their proposal video here.
Justina is so spunky and loves to laugh with her sweetheart. Even though we were all freezing, Justina couldn’t keep her dazzling smile to herself. She will be such a fun wife, always keeping Jeff on his toes.
Jeff is such a solid supporter of their relationship, and will protect and provide for her forever. He cracked me up at our session when he mentioned that if he had just gotten her number back in January, they could have gotten married in the warmth of summer. That comment still makes me chuckle. I love my winter brides + grooms! These guys are perfect together, and I am so excited to see what their future holds for them. Congrats guys!
