Last week I was filming my big promo video for Kylee Ann Photography with Haizel Creations. As part of my video I set up a styled shoot with models, hair, make up, florals, etc. Tuesday did not go as planned. I woke up to cancelled models, a very sick assistant and my videographer started getting a migraine when she got here. Thankfully, it all worked out but I was running around like a crazy person. I posted a frantic emergency model search on Instagram. Makayla came to my rescue.
I couldn’t have picked a better person to shoot for this project. She was so grateful, excited and happy to be there. It didn’t work out for me to shoot her wedding so I am absolutely ecstatic I still got to play s part in her special day. After I sent these pictures back, she replied with the sweetest message full of gratitude. Dusty and Makayla are actually getting married this month! And her dress from Bridal Image in Bountiful is to die for. I couldn’t have picked or found anything better.
I fiori did an incredible job on the bouquet and floral crown. It was ginormous, and full of insane greenery. I was in love. Jessica Nelson did an amazing job on make up and as an added bonus, she did a little hair as well. Not only did she doll Makayla up, but she came on the shoot with us to keep everything in its place. I loved having her a part of the entire experience start to finish!I Fiori and Jessica are both new-ish wedding vendors in Logan. If you’re looking for a fantastic florist, Elise from I Fiori is your girl. Same with make up. Jessica will rock it. The shoot was fun. I loved hanging out with Brit, Jessica, Makayla and of course, Dusty!
