Getting to photograph families more than once is one of the greatest joys of my work, and the Patrick family’s newborn session for baby Cosette felt like such a sweet reunion. After working together before, I was thrilled to welcome them back to Blush Door Studio in Logan, Utah to document this new chapter.

Cosette was sleepy, snuggly, and absolutely perfect for her session. While she stole plenty of hearts, her big sister definitely had a few moments in the spotlight as well. Between newborn portraits, she happily played nearby, pretending to be a photographer with her toy camera and stuffed animal, adding so much personality and charm to the session.

Studio Newborn Sessions at Blush Door

Blush Door Studio is one of my favorite spaces for newborn photography. The soft, natural light creates a clean and dreamy look, while the cozy and calm environment helps babies settle in comfortably.

As a Logan Utah newborn photographer, I love how this studio allows sessions to feel relaxed and unrushed. Cosette’s session was filled with gentle posing, natural family snuggles, and those in-between moments that tell the real story of welcoming a new baby.

The Magic of Sibling Moments

Photographing siblings alongside a newborn can be unpredictable, and that’s part of what makes it so special. I always encourage families to let older siblings be themselves, whether that looks like quiet cuddles, playful curiosity, or creative play nearby.

Cosette’s big sister brought so much heart to the session. Her curiosity, pride, and playful energy added a beautiful layer of storytelling to the final gallery.
