Bride Tip • Logan Wedding Venues

Logan Utah Wedding Venue and Wedding Reception Guide

It is time to search for your dream venue. This can feel like a daunting task in the beginning. Especially if you don’t have a Kylee Ann Bride Tip to help you out 😉 That is why I am writing this blog… to help make this easier for brides like you! Through Kylee Ann Photography I have been able to capture memories at these Logan wedding venues DOZENS of times. I know which ones make for the gorgeous receptions and perfect photos. These are the ones my brides RAVE about. And I also know which ones you might want to steer clear from!

In each one of my below reviews I have included:

  1. A Brief Summary with My Thoughts
  2. The Location
  3. Maximum Guest Occupancy
  4. Starter Pricing

Wishing you the best in your Logan Wedding Venue hunt!

TOP FIVE PICKS

Riter Mansion

This venue gets a big YES from me! Bright, open, high ceilings. Not to mention I am a big sucker for hardwood floors and rocky fireplaces. Plus there are so many windows that lets the sunshine poor in for creamy, dazzling photos! The Riter Mansion really is a dream come true.

Maximum Occupancy for a ceremony is around 150 and for a reception the guest list can be 300+. Rates start at $695 for the 11-3 time slot or $1295 in the evening from 4-10. Another plus for my LDS brides, the Riter Mansion is just down the hill from the LDS Logan Temple (less than two blocks away!) at 168 North 100 East Logan. I’m in LOVE with this venue. How about you?

The Lavender House

Located at 6035 N 4500 W in Bear River, the Lavender House is about a 30 minute drive from Logan – but worth EVERY mile! You step out of your car into this bright mystical garden. If you are wanting something outdoors and absolutely beautiful everywhere you look, then this is your venue.

Pricing generally begins at $1,200 for an event. For a ceremony and dinner there can be about 100 in attendance. Peggy provides the silverware, tables, and basically everything you would need except the food! The max occupancy for receptions is around 400. There are so many places for you and your guests to wander. Multiple fresh gardens with benches scattered throughout. Endless fruit orchards surrounding the entire house. The Lavender House truly is a flowery wonderland.

The RiverWoods (Outdoors)

Waterfall, river, lots and lots of fresh green tree – what is not to love about this outdoor space at the Riverwoods? The sunlight through the trees creates a soft light that is great for pictures. Plus, the shade will make sure you aren’t sweating through that tight beaded dress all day!

The Riverwoods is run by the same person who owns Elements, so you can check both venue and caterer off your list. They make it so easy and simple for you on your big day.

Located in the heart of Logan at 615 Riverwoods Parkway, this venue is a short drive from just about anywhere! And one of the biggest sellers for many brides, The Riverwoods is HUGE. There is plenty of room for 500 guests, and they could all be twirling on the dance floor! It costs about $1500 for an entire day. Well worth every penny for this big, bright outdoors venue.

 Four Seasons Event Center

For those who love The Riverwoods style but do not need that much space, a smaller (and cheaper) option is available because the same person own them both! It is an intimate setting that comes with indoor and outdoor access. There is not as much greenery and a few too many apartment buildings surrounding for my taste. But the added patio area and perfect lighting almost make up for it!

Four Seasons is located at 140 E 2200 N North Logan. And for just $895 it can be yours for an entire day. The venue can seat about 140 guests. However, if you are having an open house reception the space can fit nearly 400. You really cannot go wrong with Four Seasons. The owners are seriously the BEST to work with! It will not disappoint.

Herms Inn Wedding

Herms is THEE place to have breakfast. If you know Logan, you know Herms. But have you ever thought of having a reception here? I was surprised when I first heard the idea. Then we shot these pictures, and I fell LOVE. Herms has a rustic homey feel that really brings a group together.  This venue is for the intimate reception!

Herms can seat anywhere from 2 to 50. Prices vary depending on how many guests and what you are looking for! This venue is located at 1435 Canyon Rd. It is so fun and different. If it fits your style, I would definitely keep Herms Inn in mind!

MY NEXT CHOICES

Birch Creek

Birch Creek is a golf resort surrounded by lots of green and towering mountains! It is located in Smithfield at 550 E 100 N. The building is nice and lets in a lot of light. Pricing starts at $700 for an all day reception reservation. The banquet room can hold about 70 people depending on how you want to set up the room. It is a very nice venue that has been a lot of fun to shoot in!

Castle Manor

Castle Manor is a huge building that can accommodate even the largest of receptions! Maximum occupancy can vary from 50 to 700 guests depending on the room and package you select. Pricing also varies significantly, and Castle Manor customer service is great with helping you find the right reservation for your budget. Located in Hyde Park at 170 W 3900 N, this is a great option to look into!

Alumni Center

Of course the Alumni Center is a nice building with lots of extra space, perfect for a wedding venue option! Pricing begins at $500 for a 4 hour time slot or $900 for 8 hours. This venue usually requires very little decorating which takes more stress off of you! Formal dinners allow 120-150 guests, but more are allowed if it is only a flowing reception. Located at 7500 Old Main Hill here in Logan, it is close to the LDS Temple but can even host its very own ceremony! The Alumni Center makes for a fun and easy venue at a good deal.

Old Rock Church

This is an impressive historic building. I love the look of the Old Rock Church! Prices begin at $300 and hour or $1295 for the entire day. My bride Karlie had her ceremony outside with these huge pine trees in the background and it was GORGEOUS. The ceremony can seat roughly 150 guests and even more can come for a reception! The Old Rock Church is located in Providence at 10 S Main. Go check this venue out!

There are an endless amount of possibilities when it comes to wedding venue options. These have been some of my favorite and the most popular with my Kylee Ann Brides. Comment below with any other Logan wedding venue ideas!
