We run a photography community on facebook call Our Photog Blog. It’s a place where photographers can come to get help, talk strategy, and build relationships in our creative community. It’s how I met Rachel and Kylee. I also have gained some of my best friends from the group. It’s crazy how many friends I meet online. Hannah is in our facebook group. When we announced we were going to L.A. for Rachel’s birthday we knew we had to meet up. Since she lives a ways away we told her to bring her baby and husband and we would do a family shoot!

Her little girl’s name is Charlotte and they call her Charlie. My niece is named Charlotte so we became friends real fast! I was surprised by how much she loved the beach. She wasn’t afraid of the water or sand at all. In fact, she wanted to eat the sand and kept putting it in her mouth. We would put her down to try and take a picture of just her, and she would take off across the beach. I’ve never seen a baby crawl so fast in the sand. Hannah even brought firewood to have a bonfire on the beach and I was SO sad we couldn’t make it. Does anything sound more dreamy than a bonfire on the beach?
