How to Prepare for Your Mini Session | Mini Sessions with Kylee Ann Studios

Preparing for a mini session doesn’t have to be stressful. With a little planning, you can ensure your photos turn out exactly as you envision. Here’s a guide to help you get ready for your mini session with Kylee Ann Studios.

• Outfit Coordination: Choose outfits that complement each other. But also make sure you consider the season and location. Neutral, soft colors are always a great choice. But we love pastels and bold colors too. Remember that a mix of patterns, layers and textures photograph so well. I always recommend starting with mom’s outfit first.
• Timing: Mini sessions are booked back to back in the best lighting of the day. Because of that it’s important to arrive on time. We suggest coming 5-10 minutes before your session time to do final prep. Every minute of lighting counts!! 
• Communicate Your Vision: If you have any specific ideas, requests or poses in mind, please reach out to me ahead of time.
