There are wedding days that feel thoughtfully designed from beginning to end, where every detail reflects the couple and every moment feels meaningful. Alyssa and Ethan’s wedding was exactly that.
As a Mount Timpanogos Temple wedding photographer, I loved beginning their beautiful summer wedding day at the Mount Timpanogos Utah Temple. From the excitement before the ceremony to the joy of seeing them officially begin this new chapter together, every moment felt full of love and anticipation.
After their temple ceremony, the celebration continued at the stunning Hidden Orchards venue—a new location for me and such a fun place to photograph. With a beautiful tent set among the orchard trees, thoughtful details throughout the property, and a relaxed summer atmosphere, it was the perfect setting for their reception.

Why I Love Mount Timpanogos Temple Wedding Photography
The Mount Timpanogos Utah Temple is one of Utah’s most beautiful wedding locations.
The elegant architecture, landscaped grounds, and mountain surroundings create a timeless backdrop for wedding portraits. Whether couples are looking for classic temple exit photos, romantic newlywed portraits, or family photographs with loved ones, the temple grounds offer so many opportunities for meaningful images.
One of my favorite parts of Mount Timpanogos Temple wedding photography is capturing the emotions surrounding the ceremony. The anticipation before entering the temple, the excitement afterward, and the first moments as newlyweds are memories couples never want to forget.
A Hidden Orchards Wedding Reception in Utah
After their ceremony, Alyssa and Ethan celebrated at Hidden Orchards, a venue that immediately stood out because of its unique setting.
A beautiful tent nestled in the middle of an orchard created an atmosphere that felt both elegant and welcoming. The natural surroundings added so much charm, while the reception details brought everything together into a celebration that felt personal to them.
I always love photographing new venues because each space tells a different story. Hidden Orchards provided a gorgeous combination of outdoor beauty and intentional design, giving us so many opportunities for reception details, guest interactions, and portraits throughout the evening.
The Wedding Details That Made the Day Special
One thing I loved about Alyssa and Ethan’s wedding was how every detail felt carefully chosen.
From the floral arrangements by Lavender Lane Floral to the dessert table featuring Brucie’s Berries and Nothing Bundt Cakes, each element added personality and beauty to the celebration.
Wedding details may seem small in the moment, but they tell so much of the story. The flowers, desserts, invitations, decorations, and personal touches all represent months of planning and the people who helped make the day possible.
Those are the details I love preserving because they bring couples right back to the feeling of their wedding day.
Why Wedding Photography Is About More Than the Perfect Portrait
Of course, beautiful portraits are an important part of a wedding gallery. But the images couples treasure most are often the moments surrounding those portraits.
The hug from a parent after the ceremony.
The laughter with friends.
The happy tears.
The details they spent months planning.
The quiet moments between the two people who just promised forever.
My goal as a wedding photographer is to capture the entire experience—not just what the day looked like, but what it felt like.
