Chance Encounters
Ah my friends! I’m so excited to share their National Donut Day wedding with the blog! I just have to start out by saying that I have ran into these guys TWICE at temples on days I was shooting. The first time was at the Payson Temple, the same day as my brother’s wedding! Getting to stop and chat with them calmed me on that day so much. That’s just the kind of people they are!
I love their love story so much! They met in the same calling in their ward and after just one date they were pretty smitten with each other. If you want to hear more about their love story, and see their early morning engagement session.
Their wedding day was elegant and fun, just like they are! Katie and Eric exited the Payson Temple to cheers and greetings from their family and friends. They are very loved people. They had a massive group there to celebrate and take family pictures! The bridal party group was so fun! They were all friends from college and high school and I loved getting to chat with the girls and learn even more about Katie and Eric’s relationship!
National Donut Day Wedding
The back yard reception was held in Eric’s aunt’s yard. This is the back yard of my dreams and it was the perfect venue for their guests to greet the couple, kids to run around and all the traditions held out on the lawn.
Eric proposed to Katie in the same spot that they greeted their guests back when there was snow on the ground. The best part of their wedding was they were married on National Donut Day so of course they had so many donuts as treats, as well as an amazing cake!
I’m so excited for these two to get to spend their lives together. I saw them at the Logan Temple a few weeks ago and just getting to hug them and catch up on their married life was such a treat. Congrats! Enjoy!
