Aurra has been my best friend for almost 15 years. She is joy and light personified, and watching her move through life’s biggest milestones has been incredibly special. Over the past few years, I’ve had the honor of photographing her engagement, her wedding, and now this season—life as a new mom.
Her husband and I actually went to high school together, and the two of them have known each other since junior high. Their story has always felt layered and full-circle in the best way.
From Proposal to Parenthood
One of the most memorable sessions I’ve ever photographed was Brendan’s proposal to Aurra at the Utah State Capitol cherry blossoms. It was a complete surprise to her, and being trusted to capture that moment is something I will never forget.
Since then, their story has continued to evolve in such a beautiful way, and now they’ve stepped into parenthood with their baby boy.
