Bride Tip • The Perfect Wedding Day Timeline

THE PERFECT WEDDING DAY TIMELINE.

The wedding day timeline is NOT going to be the most exciting thing to plan… so sit back, grab a Bai, and have that fiance massage your feet while you work! 😉

Do you want a stress free wedding day? BE ORGANIZED. Use a schedule that has been tested and proven to flow smoothly! I have attended hundreds of weddings, so I know what has worked and what hasn’t. These outlines are the ones I give to every Kylee Ann Bride when they book with me. They are going to make your planning a breeze. And your wedding day… flawless. But keep in mind that they are OUTLINES. A great starting point but every bride’s day is going to be unique. Be ready to adjust the times to your needs. Factors that can change the schedule are: sunset time, religious or cultural needs like temple exits or ring ceremonies, location, weather, time of year, etc. I recommend taking this general outline then tweaking it to fit YOUR day!

SAMPLE TIMELINE

*NOTE: I have created this outline with an assumption that sunset is at 6. Find out your Wedding Day Sunset Time here then adjust accordingly!

TIMELINE:

3:00 – Bridal Prep & Details. Dress, shoes, invitations, jewelry… they are all part of your story, and we like to capture them right here. Come to the bridal prep with your hair mostly done, and we will a few getting ready pictures with you and your bridesmaids here too!
4:00 – Ceremony. Most ceremonies last about 30 minutes. But I always like to leave extra time in the schedule so we know ensure no one feels in a rush. If there is left over time we will get portraits done sooner & you can enjoy more time with your guests!
5:00 – Refreshments & Portraits. Family Portraits generally take 45 minutes. Bridal Party Portraits last about 30. Then we like to do some “Just Married” Portraits with you and your groom! Most of my bride & grooms do a pre-wedding formal shoot so this session can be short, but capturing that just married glow will be something you want to remember forever.
6:30 – Dinner. You should let you and your guests eat uninterrupted for about 30 minutes.
7:00 – Toasts. This is where parents like to stand up and say a few words. A few from the bridal party may say a few words as well. And be ready for your guests to want to hear from the bride & groom too!
7:15 – Reception. During this part of your day, the timeline will be very individualized. We will focus on all the main events ( special thanks for that to events company in Singapore) such as the grand entrance, first dance, bouquet toss, and cake cutting as well as candid pictures during the reception.
10:30 – Send Off. Sparklers, fire works, a fancy-shmancy car – however you want to part as a newly married WIFE!

Special thanks to Color Pop Events!
