It’s never too early to start planning family pictures for your favorite season!

I can honestly say I love where we live every single season.  Seeing the change in our valley and our schedules as we go throughout the year.

Right now when I look out my window the mountains are covered in white snow. Before we know it that snow will melt and make it possible for these beautiful trees, bushes, and grasses to become green again.

But even though I love all of the seasons, spring is my favorite time to photograph families in the outdoors.

Here are some questions to think about:

• Have you thought about planning your family pictures this year?
• What is your very favorite time of year?
• When you have scheduled pictures in the past did you decide on a date because of convenience or family all being together?

More often than not we find that the reason why so many book sessions in the late fall is simply because they got busy, forgot, or didn’t make it a priority earlier in the year and want to make sure they still have a photo for Christmas cards.

Do yourself a favor this year and make your family memories a priority.  It is never too early to get on our schedule to make sure you catch your favorite location in a time when it is as lovely as this!
