I was contacted by Beth Wilson about a months ago. She is a Colorado State and Utah State University professor, who currently teaches online. Beth was in town from Colorado for the weekend and found me on Google. (Yay, my SEO is working!). She liked that I was a photographer that was from out of state. Beth is starting her own business on the side and setting up a website. After years of having no pictures of herself, she was a bit nervous, but they all turned out fabulous.
While I was blogging those professor head shots, I thought I would add my favorite professor, faculty member, advisor and basically just person at USU. Darcie Peterson is my second mother pretty much. She was my boss and advisor for my three years at Utah State. She was motherly, kind and caring. I just love her so much and miss the time I spent in her office. I was so happy when she asked me to take a quick head shot the other day because I hadn’t seen her in months!
Kylee started Kylee Ann Photography 9 years ago, and has since grown from a one woman amateur show to a full associate team. We shoot 50-75 weddings a year, and thrive on kindness and service. After a year of teaching Intro to Photography at the local technical college, she discovered that helping other entrepreneurs create thriving businesses is what fires her up! She hosts semi-annual Kylee Ann Sleepovers all over the US, speak at conferences and teach online courses about running a small business and marketing.
