The Nielsen family has been doing pictures with me for years, and every session with them is better than the last. But this one? This one was extra special as a Providence Hills Family Photographer. 

We met up in the gorgeous Providence hills, and right away I could feel it—the soft breeze, golden light, and the most peaceful, glowy atmosphere. The neutral tones in the hills matched their outfits perfectly, and everything just clicked. The vibe was effortless and magical in the best way.

A New Favorite Spot

After years of exploring different locations together, the Nielsens told me this was their favorite yet—and I couldn’t agree more. Providence is known for its sweeping views and soft, warm tones, especially in the fall or late summer. It’s one of those hidden gems in Cache Valley where every direction looks like a postcard.

We kept things simple and natural. Lots of laughter, snuggles, and genuine connection. Their kids have grown up in front of my camera, so by now it just feels like hanging out with friends—making the session easy, relaxed, and so them.
