Our First Provo Temple Wedding
written by Brooklyn
Kylee & my husbands both have bad allergies, especially this time of year. I didn’t think about it when we went to our brothers wedding in Provo. It was our first Provo temple wedding, and so I had little expectations. Every inch of the grounds were covered in colored flowers in bloom. There was amazing fragrances everywhere you turned. It was a photographers dream.
The next day, both Luke and Yanni woke up with what we thought was a bad cold, and were laid up in bed for two days. It turned out to be allergies from the amazing gardens at the temple. HAHA. That gives you a little idea of the amount of blooms we were dealing with throughout the morning.
For the amount of times we’ve been to Provo for weddings, it was crazy that this was the first wedding we’ve done at the Provo Temple. It’s an interesting temple, but absolutely stunning, and I was so happy with how the pictures turned out.
I thought the Temple made for a gorgeous background in the pictures with all the gorgeous flowers in bloom. The inside was completely stunning and peaceful for the ceremony.
Austin & his bride
My brother met his beautiful bride at BYU Idaho at a church leadership conference.
The school is notorious for this kind of thing. You may have heard it’s nickname: BYU-‘I do’. I’ve had lots of friends meet their true love & marry while attending this school. It happens in all the schools around here, but I love that BYU Idaho has nickname. I love that the school worked it’s magic on my brother.
Austin is one of the funniest people I know. Ever since he was a kid, he’s had a really mature sense of humor. He would rather solve intellectual riddles with the adults than play make believe with the kids his age. He has an old soul. I’ve always looked up to him even though he’s younger.
I worried that he’d never find a partner that was good enough for him. He met another old soul, Tracy. From firsthand experience, I can say that Tracy is a very forgiving person with a huge heart.
I’m so proud of Austin for following his heart and choosing Tracy as his bride.
