Rachel and Jonathan’s engagement session in Mendon, Utah was pure magic! As a Mendon Utah Engagement Photographer, I love when couples bring their personality and energy into a shoot, and these two did just that. Even though they went to the same high school, they didn’t actually meet until after graduation. Thanks to mutual friends, their love story began, and now they’re planning to say “I do” this fall at the Logan Temple.

Rachel showed up with a few fun pose ideas, which made the session feel collaborative and unique. And can we talk about her ring? Absolutely stunning. I could have photographed it all night. Their chemistry made every photo natural and joyful, and the laughter we shared throughout the evening gave their gallery so much life.

Mendon is a hidden gem for engagement sessions. It’s filled with lush greenery, wide open fields, and dreamy golden light at sunset. The rural vibe feels peaceful and intimate, yet it’s just a short drive from Logan. For Rachel and Jonathan’s session, we explored different spots to capture a mix of romantic close-ups and wide scenic shots that really highlighted the beauty of Northern Utah.

Sessions in Mendon always feel extra special, but this one stood out because of how connected these two are. They are not only deeply in love but also true best friends. As we chatted about their wedding day plans, it was clear they’re just as excited for the journey together as they are for the big celebration this fall.
