I talked to Ashlyn exactly one week before she got her mission call and asked her where she wanted to go. She told me that her dream mission was Russia. Ashlyn was adopted when she was a child from Russia and her birth parents still live there.

A week later, she opened her call and words cannot even describe the excitement when she was called to serve in the RUSSIA VLADIVOSTOK mission! (If you want to watch, this is the video of her opening her call.) This girl is an absolute doll. The people of Russia are so blessed to have Sister Johnson in their lives over the next year and a half.
