Spring Field Engagement Shoot | Mikayla & Tyler
This Spring Field Engagement Shoot taught me one thing, shooting in the Spring in Utah can be hard because you just never know what you are going to get. We found this beautiful field in Green Canyon, one of my favorite place to shoot. And before you start scrolling and think “Hiliary this is not a spring engagement shoot!” I promise it was, but that’s spring in Utah. It’s not a real season. It was SO dang cold during this engagement session. But you can hardly tell because Mikayla & Tyler were just so happy to be with each other. I always tell my grooms that they don’t have to worry about anything because we are just going to hangout and get to know each other, and I give them plenty of opportunities to kiss their soon to be wife. It was especially true for this shoot because I had to keep them warm. Please notice poor Mikayla’s shoes. She seriously didn’t complain one time, even though her boots are practically sandals and her feet were basically in the snow the entire time!
We had to do a lot of snuggling, when I say we I mean I directed them, they did the snuggling. They stayed warm and happy and that’s all that matters. After we were done shooting in the field for this spring engagements we were able to find these pine trees and it made it look a lot more like a winter engagement shoot. I love the memories we made during this “spring” photoshoot.
