Tacoma Wedding Photographer
This was my first time getting to be a Tacoma Elopement Photographer! Savanna and David’s wedding was sooo unique and perfect! They met once while in college at a bar with friends in common. But unfortunately the timing wasn’t right for anything to happen then. Thanks to their persistent friends they were both invited to a camping trip. Finally, when they were finally both single at the same time, they started talking. This was around the time when David joined the police academy. They went on a hike three years ago in March. They’ve been attached the hip basically ever since.
Elopement Photographer
I met Savanna at her friend Ashley‘s wedding a few years ago, and David, Ashely and Kylee Ann all went to high school together. These two have totally intertwined their lives together. They have a home they just purchased and just a few weeks before the wedding they got a new puppy that has made the officially blend their family! They both had their own dogs and now they have a joint dog together. A year and one day before their wedding day, they went on a trip to Mexico that was planned by family. One night they were walking by the beach.
There was this really cool sea horse statue that always gets swept out to sea.They took some pictures in front of it and then all of a sudden David got down on one knee. The funny part was is they got hit by a wave mid proposal. Savanna knew he had had the ring and she was patiently waiting but was so excited to finally get to say yes to forever with her sweetheart.
Rhein Haus in Tacoma Washington
Savannah was just like any bride and started planning a big wedding. But once she started planning she realized how much fluff can go into a day that supposed to be about them. That’s why they made the decision to have a more intimate wedding with just friends and family that are really important. They got married at Jack Hyde Park in Tacoma, right on the water. Her brother Kyle was the officiant and he shared their story of dating and falling in with everyone. There were giggles and sniffles from the audience.
Their 43 guests just stood around them, and almost every single friend of the couple flew in to be there. You could just tell that everyone loved them so much to be there for their day. The entire group went for dinner at the Rhein Haus, a German style pub. There were fun games to play and everyone enjoyed the yummy food to eat. 
Dueling Piano Bar
After enjoying a meal together, most of the party went to a dueling piano bar in downtown Tacoma. This was the highlight of the night for me! David’s aunt paid a premium price to get David on the stage in honor of his wedding day. Savanna even went up to dance the Single Ladies. Unfortunately, I’be been sworn to keep those photos to myself. You have to bug Savannah and David to see those ones! This whole day was crafted to be about them. We truly got to celebrate who they are as a couple. I love seeing them enjoy their day so fully because they cut out everything that wasn’t important to them. Congrats you two!!
